Mechanically controlled rheological properties of epoxy composite via introduction of ultrasonic disperser techniques |
초록 |
Epoxy is commonly used thermosetting polymers with a wide range of applications such as coatings, adhesives and electronic components. For extensive applications of epoxy composite, rheological properties, for example, viscosity and thixotropy, have been considered as crucial factors. Especially, thixotropy is a shear-stress dependent viscosity properties resulting in the reversible changes from gels and fluidic state. Therefore, there are several attempts to investigate the rheological properties of epoxy composite. Herein, we controlled the rheological properties of epoxy composite by introducing ultrasonic disperser techniques. As a simple and universally available method, the ultrasonic disperse techniques is used to provide the external energy into epoxy composite. As a results, 1.5 times higher thixotropy values could be achieved by ultrasonic disperser techniques. These results will be attributed well-dispersed silica particles supported by infrared (IR) spectroscopy analysis. |
