In this work, the thermal and mechanical properties of siloxane-diaminodiphenylmethan(ETSO-DDM) with different kinds of bisphenol(BPH) system which are DGEBF and DGEBA were investigated in the different contents of ETSO. The activation energies of the ETSO-DDM/BPH systems were studied by Differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The mechanical properties of ETSO-DDM/BPH systems were also examined by universal testing machine (UTM), tensile test. From experimental results, the activation energies and mechanical properties of ETSO-DDM/BPH were improved with decreasing the ETSO contents. This was due to the high crosslinking density made from short length of ETSO-DDM, resulting in improving the mechanical interlockings between ETSO-DDM and BPH in these systems. |
