제목 Development of graphene dispersants by using adhesion force analysis
초록 In recent years, liquid-phase processing has proven to be effective for the modification of the surface of graphene with minimal defects. However, this process leads to aggregation of graphene by restacking due to strong attractive van der Waals forces between graphene sheets. Therefore, selection of dispersants for better dispersion stability of graphene sheets is critical to guarantee unique and superior properties of graphene. Herein, we developed block copolymer dispersants by studying the adhesion force between the vinyl monomers which can be used in the copolymerization and the basal of graphenes. The selected monomers having better adhesion forces also showed better dispersion stability of graphite nanoplates stabilized with corresponding polymeric dispersants.  This work was supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (no. 10044338) and POSCO grant (no. 20176027).
