제목 Luminescent Hydrogels for Imaging of Cancer Cells
초록 Luminescent hydrogels for cell imaging is likely one of the most clinically important applications of cancer therapy and designed to actively target cancer. Here, we proposed the idea of the luminescent hydrogels engineered to accommodate the polyacrylamide, carbon dots, folic acid and anticancer drugs. A defined acryl amide polymer synthesized by RAFT polymerization and surface of the carbon dots covalently functionalized with 4-Hydroxybenzaldehyde. Luminescent hydrogels were framed through Schiff base reaction between the polymer amine, folic acid amine and aldehyde functionalized carbon dots to generate the imide bond. The hydrogels structure and morphology confirmed by XRD and SEM techniques. Luminescent hydrogels were tested in the cancer cells to assure their in vitro cell imaging.
