| 제목 | Alternative process for synthesis of glycerol carbonate by transesterification |
| 초록 | Glycerol carbonate is a versatile product synthesized from glycerol which is the by-product of biomass production industry. In this research, the transesterification of glycerol with dimethyl carbonate has been performed as an alternative process of conventional phosgenation. Amine based catalysts are used, and KH-1 showed remarkable catalytic performances. Using KH-1 as heterogeneous catalyst, reaction was tested through fixed-bed semi-continuous type reactor for bench-scale study. |
