In this work, we have prepared ultra-microporous carbons using cellulose fibers (CFs) with chemical activation for carbon dioxide capture. The CFs were conducted KOH activation with different ratios . The morphological properties of CFs were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The specific surface area and micropore volume were analyzed at N2 /77K adsorption-desorption isotherms. The carbon dioxide adsorption capacity was measured by TGA method at specific condition. From the results, it was shown that chemical activation had influence on pore development, resulting in enhancing the carbon dioxide adsorption capacity. |
