High proton selective Zeolite/Nafion composite membranes for DMFCs using high silica zeolite, ZSM-5 |
초록 |
Zeolite/Nafion composite membranes containing high silica zeolites(Na+-ZSM-5 and H+-ZSM-5) were prepared by using a recast procedure. Measurements of ion conductivity, water uptake and methanol permeation of the cast membranes were conducted. The Zeolite/Nafion composite membranes have shown better properties than of commercial membrane (Nafion 115). Experimental results show that the selectivity(C/P) of ZSM-5/Nafion composite membranes increased with increasing the ZSM-5 contents in membranes. In addition, the results also clearly show that proton type ZSM-5 takes more water than Na+-ZSM-5, thus leading to better proton conductivity. |
