Perovskite has attracted attention in the LED field due to its excellent optical properties such as fine color purity and high photoluminescence quantum yield. However, blue PeLED has a lower device efficiency than red and green PeLED. Since blue PeLED generally exhibits a wide energy band gap and a deep HOMO energy level, it is essential to develop an electron transport material having an appropriate energy level to improve device performance. In this study, new electron transport materials, TPBi-A, TPBi-B, and TPBi-C, were developed by introducing an electron-withdrawing group to 2,2',2''-(1,3,5-Benzinetriyl)-Tris(1-phenyl-1-H-benzimidazole), TPBi, which is widely used as an electron transport layer due to its superior electron transport properties. In addition, we intend to investigate the correlation between the changes in the performance of the PeLED device by the introduction of the electron pulling group and the changes in the electrochemical and morphological characteristics. |
