제목 Control of Moiré Phenomenon on Display using Lateral Buckling Structure
초록 Moiré phenomenon is an interference pattern created when two similar patterns are overlapped. At a similar wavelength, constructive interference and destructive interference occur when each wavelength is overlapped. On the display, this phenomenon has the disadvantage of making the screen less visible.

In this study, we designed a lateral buckling structure. That is because if the pattern is similar, the interference phenomenon occurs but if the pattern is changed through the lateral buckling, the interference phenomenon will not occur. We used hydrogel to make the lateral buckling structure. It means when the hydrogel of prism shape is put in water, the hydrogel is swelled, and lateral buckling is made. This structure can control the Moiré phenomenon and reduce the disadvantage on display.
