제목 Reduced graphene oxide and poly (diallyldimethylammonium chloride) complex for sensor applications
초록 We present the use of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDADMAC) complex for two different sensor applications: adherable temperature sensor and vapor detection sensor. The PDADMAC dispersed in a graphene oxide aqueous solution was dried and reduced to an rGO-PDADMAC complex with laser irradiation. The rGO-PDADMAC sensor was characterized with a scanning electron microscope and Raman spectroscopy. For the adherable temperature sensor, PDADMAC was used as a polymer matrix to provide enough viscosity applicable to any porous surface and make GO sheet dispersed stable, and the adherable temperature sensor of the rGO-PDADMAC complex to the porous structure of aramid fiber finally detected 55% sensitivity from 25°C to 100°C. For the vapor detection sensor, methyl salicylate (MeSA) vapor was chosen as a target analyte to validate the sensing system, and the rGO-PDADMAC complex was also utilized as a sensing matrix with a higher affinity to the MeSA vapor. The sensor based on the rGO-PDADMAC complex was used to measure the change in resistance in real time and finally detected 11% resistance variation induced by 14.5ppmv MeSA vapor over 540s.
