제목 | Removal of toluene with adsorption of MOF-801 prepared by design of experiment methodology |
초록 | Toluene, the most encountered VOC, isone of the largest contributors to both ozone and SOA formation. Many VOC removal methods have been developed, including adsorption,condensation, incineration, and biological degradation. Among these methods,adsorption has been considered one of the most favorable to control VOCs due toits ease of application and high efficiency. Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs)form a new class of porous materials, which comprise metallic ions or clustersand organic ligands that produce unique network structures with high surfaceareas, pore volumes, and pore tunability. In this study, sequential design ofexperiments using two-step design of experiments was used to optimize theMOF-801 synthesis process. First, optimal conditions for the main componentsused for synthesis were determined, and then the optimal experimentalconditions were presented by finding the level combination of factor factorsthat optimize the reaction process factors. |
