. The catalyst activity decreases rapidly even after several cycles of reaction–regeneration and reaches to an “equilibrium” state. It is known that the phosphorus is a good modifier to increase hydrothermal stability of ZMM-5 due to the prevention of dealumination from zeolite framework during steaming. However, the activity of P-modified ZSM-5 is still too low to guarantee high light olefin yield. Therefore, in this study, we tried to increase hydrothermal stability of ZSM-5 itself by the introduction of new synthetic method of ZSM-5 using nano-sized seed and compared its stability with conventional ZSM-5.The ZSM-5 prepared by nano-sized crystalline ZSM-5 seed revealed higher hydrothermal stability than commercial one. In catalytic cracking of naphtha, the ZSM-5 prepared with crystalline nano-sized seed revealed 30 % higher light olefin yield than that of commercial one over the whole reaction condition |
