Printed electrical sensor platforms by using ultrathin metal oxide semiconductors with functional organic materials |

Printed Ultrathin metal oxide semiconductors have been attracting in the field of various sensing applications owing to large surface-to-volume ratio and high reproducibility. Here, we have demonstrated high performance transparent organic–inorganic hybrid phototransistors. The extended charge transport and photoconductivity between the PBDTT:DPP-PC61BM BHJ and the metal oxide semiconductor heterostructures showed a high detectivity of over 1012 Jones and an linear dynamic rages of over 100 dB across the UV–NIR range. Additionally, we have extended this platform for biological sensing applications. Ultrathin metal oxide semiconductors-based electrochemical transistors had high sensitivity and large transconductance in ionic liquids as pH sensors. pH sensitivity was reached to over 60 mV/pH and was shown highly stable under broad ionic strength. High sensitivity and selectivity abilities for glucose and neurotransmitters were also confirmed by using specific surface immobilizations. |
