제목 Efficiency of chitosan nanoparticle for therapeutic agent delivery
초록 The aim of this study is to confirm the effect of chitosan with different molecular weight and fatty acid (FA) with hydrophobic chain length. FA was modified to chitosan by EDC coupling agent. FA-modified chitosan nanoparticle (ChNP) was self-assembled by hydrophobic interaction. It was known that Curcumin has therapeutic effect against angiogenesis, inflammatory, and cancers. Despite of these advantages, it has a few problems such as cytotoxicity, low solubility, and poor absorption in human body. Therefore, ChNPs were prepared to overcome these problems. The characterization of ChNPs were investigated by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, DLS, and HPLC. Cell viability and anticancer activity were evaluated by MTT assay.
