제목 Formation of Conjugated Oligomer Nanorods by Assembling with 2-Bromobenzaldehydeand Phospholipid
초록 Conjugated oligomer nanorods were prepared by shattering phase-separated films of the conjugated oligomer, 2-bromobenzaldehyde (2-BBA) and a phospholipid. 2-BBA was assembled with the conjugated oligomer, thienoisoindigo ethylhexyl-bezene, (T2GEH-bz), via halogen bondings between electron rich halogen atoms and electron poor carbonyl groups in 2-BBA and T2GEH-Bz and via close packing of alkyl chains together with fullfilling empty space with 2-BBA. It was observed that pi-pi stacking of conjugated planes were improved with increasing the ratio of 2-BBA and with decreasing that of the lipid to the oligomer, as proven bathochromic shifts in absorption spectra. End results were water-dispersed nanorods of the conjugated oligomer, a near infrared absorbent for photoacoustic imaging and photothermal cancer therapy.
