Electrospun PVDF and Polyurethane Nanofiber Webs for Piezoresponsing Sensor |

In this work we prepared piezoelectric PVDF nanofiber webs(PFW) through electrospinning technique. Piezoelectric signal of this PFW was verified by using a voltage mode amplifier when sinusoidal external force was imparted. PFW also showed good piezocapacitive property responding to the external force dynamically and statically. In contrast, electrospun polyurethane nanofiber webs (PUW) showed even better piezocapacitive property, because of its high elasticity and dielectricity. From the force-capacitance(FC) curve, the hysteresis fairly large hysteresis was observed in PFW and PUW. A new PUW containing nitrile butadiene rubber(NBR) nanofiber was also prepared via conjugate electrospinning system. It exhibited much less hysteresis in the FC curve. Acknowledgment.
