제목 | Silver nanocrystal based metamaterials by nanoimprint lithography |
초록 | Nanoplasmonic research is successfully gaining interest due to its various worth seeing applications, such as super lenses, plasmon assisted photo lithography and light harvesting. Au and Ag thin film based metamaterials in visible and NIR range have been fabricated because of their negative-refractive index and low loss than other metals. However, their applications are limited because the optical properties of metals cannot be tuned. By contrast, the optical properties of nanocrystals(NCs) based building blocks can tailored dependent on NC shape, size and composition. In this study, we focus on the Ag NC based metamaterial in visible and NIR range. The chemically coupled Ag NCs via short conductive ligand were used in building block instead of metal thin film. Nanoimprint lithography and lift-off process were done in order to fabricate the various metamaterial based on Ag NCs. Finally, the fabricated Ag NC based metamaterials showed the plasmonic resonance in visible and NIR range. This study shows the plasmonic resonance wavelength can be controlled by coupled NC type and metamaterial structure. |
