Plasmonic Effects of Ordered Au Nanoparticle Arrays on the Photocurrent Generation of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells |
초록 |
Plasmonic metal nanoparticles (NPs) have widely applied in various research fields such as optoelectronics, optical sensing, and nanoplasmonics due to their unique electronics and optical properties. Especially, controlled LSPR properties can be potentially utilized in peculiar plasmonic solar cells to enhance the light harvesting and charge carrier generation. Herein, we investigate the effect of highly ordered Au NPs, which were integrated into the TiO2 nanostructures in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) as tailor-designed Au/TiO2 working electrodes based on PS-b-P4VP template-assisted method. Expected plasmonic effects of Au NPs on the efficiency of DSSCs are including: 1) Electron injection may be increased by enhancing the Schottky barrier in the interfacial region of Au and TiO2; 2) Plasmonic light harvesting can be unattenuated by resonance energy transfer or near field coupling. |
