Piezoelectric Characteristics of Electrospun Poly(vinylidene fluoride) Nanofiber Webs Coated with Silicone Rubber |
초록 |
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a well-known piezoelectric material whose piezoelectricityis understood to originate from the ordered orientation of C-F dipoles upon stretching followed by poling under high electric field. In the present study, we focussed our attention on the preparation of electrospun PVDF nanofiber webs in which case, we could achieve higher β-crystalline phase without further stretching and poling processes. Piezoelectricity of PVDF nanoweb based sensor with/without silicone rubber coating is studied as a function of three different sensor configurations. The piezoelectric output signal measured using siloxane rubber-electrode-PVDF-electrode-siloxane rubber configuration exhibited greater magnitude than any other configuration because the siloxane rubber coating could avoid the inappropriate sensor slippage between textile bands and electrical shortage due to its insulation behavior.
