제목 Preparation and properties of ethylene copolymer network using supramolecular hydrogen-bonding
초록 Intermolecular hydrogen bonding can lead to thermally reversible polymer network with high energy via a self-assembly process. This study describes a formation of thermoreversible network by utilizing addition reaction of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole (ATA) to polyethylene-ethyl acrylate-maleic anhydride copolymer (E-EA-MAH). Formation of a crosslinking was confirmed by an analysis on the temperature dependency of storage modulus. The tensile and dynamic modulus was improved by the formation of the crossliked structure. And, the crosslinked copolymers exhibited a fairly good shape memory effects, in which the response temperature of the recovery effect was about 65oC. Effects of ATA content, molding temperature and time as well as the addition of filler particles on mechanical properties, thermal transitions, and shape memory behavior were examined.
