제목 Fabrication of β-TCP-ZrO2 porous body using PMMA from insitu synthesized powders prepared by sol-gel and microwave hydrothermal method
초록 β-TCP-(20% ZrO2) porous ceramic composites were fabricated using PMMA as a pore forming agent. β-TCP-(20% ZrO2) powders were synthesized by sol-gel method coupled with microwave hydrothermal method. The PMMA was removed by burning out and spherical shaped isolated pores with size range of 100-120 μm in diameter were obtained. 30%, 40%, 50%, 60% and 70% of PMMA were added with the β-TCP-(20% ZrO2) powder to obtain different extent of porosity. Microstructure of the porous bodies was investigated with SEM technique. The biocompatibility of the composites was investigated by immersing the porous bodies in SBF.
