제목 Synthesis and Charaterization of Dithienothiophene-based Two-Photon Absorption (TPA) Chromophores
초록 Two-photon absorption (TPA) behavior of organic molecules has been attracted great interest in recent years. TPA materials with a large cross-section value (σ) can be utilized for various applications such as for two-photon-pumped upconverted lasing, optical power limiting, three-dimensional optical data storage, photodynamic therapy, etc.
In this study, we employ dithienothiophene (DTT) derivatives as a TPA-active chromophores for increasing TPA cross-section and the photostability of TPA materials. This is because DTT based chromophores represent a highly π-conjugation, inherent photochemical property, the higher planarity and thermal stability.
In this presentation, we report the synthesis, spectroscopic, thermal and nonlinear optical characterization of various DTT-based chromophores.
