Hyperbranched conjugated polymers are advantageous over there linear counterparts in high solubility, good processability, and minimization of unfavorable intermolecular interactions and crystallization. In addition, by controlling the nature of the end groups, it is possible to endow these hyperbranched architectures with functions such as enhanced adhesion and energy harvesting as well as optoelectronic characteristics. Many researchers have studied chemosensors for α-amino acids. However, it seems that there were no reports concerned with the water-soluble conjugated polymer-based fluorescent chomosensors for α-amino acids, although they are key constituents of proteins. Herein, we synthesized and characterized water-soluble hyperbranched conjugated polymer containing sulfonic acid group for α-amino acids sensing. |
