초록 | Calculations involving vapor-liquid equilibria (VLE) in polymer solutions are required in the design and operation of polymer processes. The Polymer-solvent VLEare predicted using currently available prediction models: the GCLF-EOS, theUNIFAV-FV, the entroic-FV, and the revised GC-Flory EOS. Using the entire availableexperimental data, each model were evaluated and extensive statistical analyses wereperformed in predicting the VLE both at infinite dilution and finite concentrations ofsolvents. The GCLF-EOS provided more accurate results than other models in predictingthe VLE at infinite dilution of solvents. In the prediction of VLE at finite concentrationsof solvents, the GCLF-EOS and entropic-FV models showed the best performance. |
