Contact Resistance ananlysis in Organic Filed Effect Transistor with alloyed metal electrode |

Electronic characteristics of Organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) are influenced by metal-organic semiconductor contact resistance as well as channel resistance. We fabricated pentacene based OFETs with Ni-Au alloyed source-drain electrode and characterize electrical performance. Contact resistance measured with transmission line model (TLM) method and surface potential difference measured with Scanning Kelvin Probe Microscope (SKPM) showed that the alloy system showed lower contact resistance than corresponding metals. |
