In DSSCs, interfacial properties are more important than bulk properties because of all processes such as photogeneration, separation and charge recombination take place at the heterointerface. Therefore, we have investigated theses crucial interfacial properties by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Also we have examined electron transport properties in TiO2 mesoporous structure and diffusion properties of I-/I3- redox couple in the polymer electrolyte. PHB with various cations exibits slightly lower ion conductivity and lower charge transfer resistance than that of polymer electrolyte obtained by oligomer approach such as PEGDME based electrolyte. Although ion conductivity is slightly low, the high performance was obtained when the PHB based electrolyted was employed in DSSCs. Over 4% of high efficiencies are obtained at high active area(0.45cm2) and these results have advantages to fabricate the large area solar cells with a high performance. |
