제목 Selective Approaches To Optimize π-Conjugated Crystal Structures of Organic Semiconductors for Solution-Processed Organic Field-Effect Transistors
초록 There have been significant efforts to fabricate solution-processed organic semiconducting layers via low-cost and direct writing printing techniques for organic field-effect transistors (OFETs). One of the key strategies to achieve high electrical performance of solution-processed organic semiconducting thin films is to develop well interconnected crystal domains containing π-conjugated planes preferentially oriented along the conducting channel. Here, one-dimensional (1D) semiconducting nanowires were fabricated using direct self-assembly of π-conjugated polymers in solvents with temperature-dependent solubilities against poly(3-hexyl thiophene)s (P3HTs). Controlling the interaction between the dissolved polymers with ultrasonification and temperature, various crystal structures of P3HTs in solution-cast films were determined by morphological and X-ray analyses. Also, electrical properties of these films were characterized and correlated with the corresponding crystal structures.
