Polymers containing carbazole molecules are easily modified and manufactured, since they are widely used as a hole transporting materials. It is known that the hole-transporting capability of these polymers is dependent on several factors such as concentration, substituents. However, the effect of polymer structure on the hole-transporting capability was hardly studied. On the basis of these, We prepared the atactic and syndiotactic poly(2-(N-carbazoyl)methyl styrene)(PCMS) by conducting stereoregular polymerization of 2-(N-carbazoyl)methyl styrene with a radical initiator and a half titanocene catalyst. The excimer formation of different stereoregular polymer was confirmed by using UV-vis and PL spectrophotometer. Syndiotactic PCMS has more narrow absorption band then atactic PCMS. It is considered that possibilities of interactions are limited by formation of partially eclipsed configuration. |
