Effect of the weight ratio of positive/negative electrode materials on the performance of electrochemical capacitors |

Asymmetric cell configuration has offered unique opportunities for achieving enhanced performance in electrochemical capacitors. Two different electrode materials, hierarchically structured conducting polymer nanomaterials and graphene/carbon nanofiber hybrids were used to construct asymmetric electrochemical capacitor cells. A commercialized capacitor cell was used to examine the capacitive behavior of the electrode materials. Cyclic voltammetry analysis and charge/discharge tests were conducted under various conditions. Especially, the capacitive behavior of the asymmetric cells were examined in terms of the weight ratio of the positive/negative electrode materials. |
