제목 Colloidal Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles as Strong Adhesive for Gel Adhesives and Regenerative Medicine
초록 Colloidal mesoporous silica (CMS) nanoparticle solutions are explored as adhesive for hydrogels and biological tissue. Due to the high specific outer surface area, CMS nanoparticles (dpore ~ 2.7 nm) show higher adhesion strength than nonporous colloidal silica nanoparticle suspension. At lower concentration than 1 wt-%, adhesion energy (Gadh) of CMS nanoparticle solutions is 7 times more at best case when they are used as adhesive between PDMA hydrogel films. In case of larger mesopore (dpore ~ 5.25 nm), adhesion energy reaches around 25 J·m2, which is almost twice than small mesopore case. Finally, the mesoporous nanoparticles were used in healing wound on a mouse skin which are rapid and strong. More importantly, porous silica can be degraded quickly in biological media.
