Blends Based on Poly(vinyl tetrazole) and Aromatic Ionomers as Proton Exchange Membranes |
초록 |
A new blend system consisting of poly (vinyl tetrazole) (PVT) and aromatic ionomers was prepared for proton exchange membranes. The PVT displayed excellent miscibility behavior with ionomers at various weight ratios. It was found that the introduction of PVT in the ionomers matrix altered the proton conductive behaviors of the blend membranes. The blend membrane based on SPAE containing 50 wt % PVT displayed high proton conductivity at room temperature despite its low IEC value, which was comparable to that of the pristine SPAE membranes (i.e., 0.094 S cm1). These results indicated that the obtained materials might have the potential to be applied as the PEMs. |
