Newly Designed Hole-Injection Layer using Polymeric Nanospheres/PEDOT:PSS Continuous phase Films for Highly Air Stable OLEDs |
초록 |
A PEDOT:PSS has been mostly used in solution-processable electronics due to its high electrical conductivity. However, it has suffered from long-term stability issues due to its acidic environments. Herein, we designed the anode buffer layer to improve the air stability through the facile blends of polystyrene nanospheres(PS NSs) and PEDOT:PSS. With PS NSs and PEDOT:PSS, we prepared the continuous phase films as HIL. Afterwards, we introduced these blend films into solution-processed OLEDs. In PS NSs devices, the EQE was almost same as the pristine PEDOT:PSS device up to φPS NSs =0.8. In addition, the air stability of PS NSs devices was dramatically improved. To elucidate the generality of this polymer blends approach, we expanded this study into the different system of vacuum evaporation OLEDs. Surprisingly, In this case, EQE was slightly improved according to increasing PS NSs contents in PEDOT:PSS. In addition, the air stability of PS NSs devices was also enhanced. |
