The ammonia-water system has many applications in industrial processes and environmental systems. For this reason, its behavior has been the interest subject. Ammonia in aqueous phase and it is difficult to describe in a weak electrolyte. To overcome this difficulty, typically, the pH of the solution is adjusted to approximately 11 in order to convert the majority of ammonium ions to molecular ammonia. Several authors suggested adding additives. This research provides the experimental method for sodium hydroxide-ammonia-water system at low temperature and the prediction method from activity model which is a unified and predictive model for mixed electrolyte, aqueous mixed-solvent systems using parameters for ions and solvents.
