제목 Fluorescent conjugated polymer nanoparticles covered with thermo-sensitive hydrogel layers
초록 Stimuli-responsive polymer materials have played an important role in a various range of applications such as drug delivery, tissue engineering and biosensors. Many strategies have been developed polymeric materials as drug carriers and sensors, which are responsive to various stimuli such as pH and temperature. Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM), commonly used thermo-responsive polymer, has a low critical solution temperature (LCST). Below LCST temperature, PNIPAM is swelling because of hydrogen bonding with H2O. Above LCST, PNIPAM become shrinking by hydrophobic interaction. We prepared fluorescent conjugated polymer dot (CPdot) covered with thermo-sensitive hydrogel. The prepared microgels have CPdot for fluorescence and PNIPAM for thermo-responsibility. Below LCST temperature, the microgels was emitted strong fluorescence by CPdot. Above LCST temperature, the fluorescence of hydrogels was quenched by shrinking of PNIPAM layers. Finally, microgels can be used for thermal sensors.
