제목 Fabrication of Nanoparticles with Magnetic and SERS Function Properties for Accurate Organic Chemical Detection
초록 In this study, we fabricated magnetic silver nanoshells (MS-Nanoshell) with magnetic property and SERS (surface-enhanced Raman scattering) fuction for SERS-based detection. MS-Nanoshell contained hundreds of small metal nanoparticles for rapid accumulation and had rough silver shell for sensitive SERS detection. The SERS intensity of MS-Nanoshell was strong enough to provide low level detection. The SERS signal strength was much stronger from the MS-Nanoshell that was aggregated than from the non-aggregated MS-Nanoshell. 4-Fluorothiophenol was detected at a low concentration of 1 nM, equivalent to 0.16 ppb. The detection limit for tetramethylthiuram disulfide was 10 M, which corresponded to 3 ppm. Application of M-AgNS can be used to detect trace very low amounts of organic matter by Raman system.
