제목 Preparation and Characterization of Concrete Containing Hybrid Epoxy Resin with OAP-POSS and POSS-SH
초록 Concrete is a composite material composed of coarse aggregate bonded together with fluid cement which hardens over time. Hybrid systems containing polymer are often used for improvement in the properties of plain cement mortar or concrete. Recently, the various methodologies for preparing copolymers or blends containing POSS have been explored by coworkers as the examples including copolymers of polysiloxane, epoxy, and polyurethane. POSS-SH consisting of silica-like core and eight –SH functional groups was used as a good curing accelerator. Hybrid epoxy resin was prepared by DGEBA curing with EDA, POSS-SH, and OAP-POSS. This study investigates the use of OAP-POSS instead of conventional silica particles to improve the construction performance. OAP-POSS was synthesized via the hydrolytic condensation of APTES in an methanol solution catalyzed by concentrated hydrochloric acid. The hybrid epoxy resin with OAP-POSS and POSS-SH was applied to make concrete with enhanced properties.
