Paclitaxel has a low aqueous solubility. Characteristics make chitosan an excellent candidate for various biomedical applications such as Paclitaxel delivery. In this study, purified chitosan oligosaccharides (COSs) were chemically modified with Balic acid (BA). Owing to the amphiphilic characters, the BA-conjugated COSs (CBs) formed self-aggregated nanoparticles was in the range of 170~300 nm and the critical aggregation concentration (cacs) was 0.0018~0.0629 g/, depending on the degree of substitution (DS). |
