X-Shaped donor-acceptor based mPT-BC(4,6-bis(9’-phenyl-9H,9’H-[3,3’-bicarbazol]-9-yl)isophthalonitrile), oPT-BC(4,5-bis(9’-phenyl-9H,9’H-[3,3’-bicarbazol]-9-yl)phthalonitrile) and pPT-BC(2,5-bis(9’-phenyl-9H,9’H-[3,3’-bicarbazol]-9-yl)terephthalonitrile) with a bicarbazole and a phthalonitrile unit were synthesized as thermally activated delayed fluorescent emitters and their photophysical properties and device performances were analyzed. mPT-BC, oPT-BC and pPT-BC with donor-acceptor structure were synthesized for effectively separating HOMO (Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital) and LUMO (Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbital), so that the gap between singlet energy and triplet energy can be reduced. We fabricated the devices for electroluminescence properties of the synthesized compounds. The devices showed external quantum efficiency of 14.9%, 11.2% and 5.9%. |
