제목 in-vitro and in-vivo Evaluation of Novel Bone Graft Materials with Hemostatic Ability
초록 A novel bone substitute was fabricated to enhance bone hemostat ability by combining ceramic and polymer materials for periodontal tissue regeneration. Hyaluronic acid(HyA)-Gelatin hydrogel(Gel) was loaded into a tri-calcium phosphate powder and BCP particle, and resulting scaffolds, with the unique cylinder shape and a height of 25 mm and a width of 8 mm. HyA-Gel and nano TCP powder were added to enhance the hemostatic effect on the outside, and BCP sponge particle was added to the core to improve the bone regeneration through slow absorption. It is inserted into the periodontal wound including periodontal and oral mucosal membranes, including extraction, and has effects of hemostasis and wound protection by physical compression, and promotes granulation tissue formation.
In this study hemostatic ability, biocompatibility and bone tissue regeneration capacity of HyA-Gel-nano TCP and HyA-Gel-nano TCP-BCP particle were examined in vitro and in vivo respectively. These scaffolds were characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD, Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), degradation analysis, and pH measurement. Study of hemostatic behavior by swelling ratio with the animal model. Histological examination and Micro-CT analysis of rabbit tibia implants performed to compare bone formation and maturation between HyA-Gel-nano TCP and HyA-Gel-nano TCP-BCP particle granule implants.
