제목 Effects of PVP on characteristics of copper nanoparticles prepared by spray pyrolysis
초록 The proliferations of copper nanoparticles in areas of microelectronics demand a simple and effective preparation method. Spray pyrolysis has become a promising synthetic method of copper nanoparticles because it allows continuous and large-scale production with good reproducibility, though the synthesis of several tens of nanometer-sized particles is hard due to limited size of generated aerosols. Furthermore, the vulnerability to oxidation of copper nanoparticles should be resolved for wide and vigorous utilization.  
The use of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) in spray pyrolysis simultaneously enables both the size reduction of copper nanoparticles and the improvement of stability in air of them. In this work, the effects of PVP on the characteristics of copper nanoparticles are characterized by X-ray diffractometer, transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
