Electron beam treatment (1 MeV) as a function of the absorbed radiation dose (kGy) of a nano-structured TiO2 film was carried out to enhance the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells. The effect of an E-beam irradiation and its characterization was investigated by FE-SEM, XRD, and a.c. impedance. When the irradiated TiO2 film was applied to DSSCs, the obtained experimental data of all the testing methods showed that in TiO2 at an absorbed dose of 20 kGy, optimum conditionsfor atransport of electron of the photoelectrode occur, resulting in the highest photoelectrochemical properties. |
