Fischer–Tropsch synthesis (FTS) reaction is a core technology for syngas conversion to long chain hydrocarbons which can produce the various clean fuels. A promising hybrid catalyst containing the ordered mesoporous FeZrOx bimetal oxides coated with Mo-modified Ferrierite (FER) was investigated for the direct conversion of syngas to C5+ hydrocarbons. The combination of the FeZrOx binary metal oxides decorated with the solid acid Mo/FER revealed a higher selectivity to C5+ hydrocarbons of 85% at ~ 51% CO conversion, which was found to be much higher than the pristine FeZrOx catalyst. The detailed surface properties of the hybrid catalyst were characterized by N2 sorption XRD, SEM, XPS, H2-TPR and NH3-TPD. |
