제목 Recarbonization of lime under oxy-CFB boiler conditions
초록 Oxy-CFB(Circulating fluidized bed) boiler have been recognized as an eco-friendly technology because it can economically recover high concentration of CO2. However, there are some issues about reactivity and corrosion when pure oxygen is used. To solve this problem, research is being conducted using recovered CO2. Desulphurization efficiency of uncalcined limestone might decrease when CO2 from flue gas will be reinjected into boiler. To study desulfurization behavior in Oxy-CFB boilers, recarbonization of limestones should be analyzed. Therefore, domestic limestones were used for determining recarbonization behavior in a thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA). The effects of CO2 concentration (60-95%), temperature, and CaCO3 concentration on recarbonization characteristics were analyzed.
