We have explored various nano-carbonic materials as candidate ingredients for transparent conductive or transparent gas barrier polymeric composite films. In this talk, I will present two topics. First, I will talk on the formation of 2-D electrical network in polymer/carbon nanotube hybrid films. Especially, I will highlight the Bernard-Marangoni effects which occur during solvent evaporation in the solution casting process. I will also address gas barrier films with very high light transmittance, which have been fabricated from polymer/graphene hybrids. |
