제목 Preparation and Properties of Biodegradable Molecular Imprinted Polymers
초록 The molecular imprinting technique is generally used to create a polymer matrix with predetermined selectivity for recognizing special molecules. Molecular imprinted polymers are produced by polymerizing a mixture of templates, functional monomers which can interact with the template, and an excess of inactive cross-linkers which can be polymerized with the functional monomers, and then removing the template from the polymer. MIPs can be used as special artificial materials because they have high affinity and selectivity. In this study, poly(ε-caprolactone) based macromers were synthesized to use as cross-linkers for MIPs fabrication. 1H-NMR and FT-IR confirmed that the macromers had acrylated functional groups. In the presence of theophylline as template molecules, we prepared MIPs by UV photopolymerization. The performance of the MIPs was characterized by measuring the sensitivity and selectivity of the MIPs to theophylline. Biodegradation of the MIPs was tested in PBS solution.
