제목 Effect of dispersion stability on the UV/VIS absorption behavior of ZAO/acrylic copolymer nanocomposites
초록 Acrylic copolymers were synthesized by solution polymerization of 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, and 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate. Acrylic copolymer was blended with zinc aluminum oxide (ZAO) nano powder, crosslinking agent, and dispersing agent to produce the nanocomposites. Dispersion stability was improved due to the effective milling of ZAO agglomerates as the portion of 0.5mm zirconia balls increased in the ball mill. The transmittances of ZAO/acrylic copolymer composite films were measured at 200~3000nm. All the nanocomposites showed the high transmittance in the visible wavelength range due to the finely dispersed ZAO and the low transmittance in the ultraviolet wavelength range due to the efficient absorption by ZAO.
