제목 Bimetallic Nanohybrids through Controllable Growth of Palladium onto Gold Multipod Nanoparticles and Their Enhanced ORR Performances
초록 Preparation of multi-compositional nanostructures, such as bimetallic core-shell or alloy nanostructures, has been a subject of interests because of their potential applications in a variety of fields. Herein, bimetallic nanoparticles comprising a gold multipod nanoparticle (GMN) core and distinctive Pd shell (GMN@Pd NPs) are successfully synthesized. In particular, the I-GMN@Pd NPs (where I represents the islanded Pd shell) show substantially enhanced ORR catalytic activity compared with the corresponding monometallic counterparts. Further, I-GMN@Pd/C shows excellent durability and better tolerance to the crossover effect, with 97.7% retention, which is much higher than that of Pt/C (76%).
