제목 Mechanical Ball-Milling Preparation of NiO/Reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite using Bulk Ni and Graphite Oxide as electrode material for supercapacitor
초록 NiO/Reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite was synthesized via a one step process using ball mill based method, which is simple, environmentally friendly and cost effective. Nickel powder and Graphite oxide were pulverized in a ball mill, to produce NiO/RGO nanocomposite. The redox reactions between GO and metallic nickel was promoted by the presence of GO, which resulted into a strong bond between the as formed nickel oxide and RGO. When NiO/RGO nanocomposite directly acted as electrode of a supercapacitor it exhibited excellent electrochemical performance with a higher specific capacitance of 590F/g at 1A/g, a higher rate capability (88% retention at a higher rate of 15A/g) and a superior cycling stability of 100% retention after 1000 charge/discharge cycles
