Development of new clean energy is crucial to keep the sustainable research. With the increasing of use of eco friendly energy sources, it is becoming necessary to develop effective supercapacitors to realize more eco friendly and efficient energy storage devices. Supercapacitors have played an important role in many fields due to its high power density and long cycle life. As a representative electrode material of the supercapacitors, nickel hybrid composite has been considered as a promising candidate. Furthermore, In the case of the anode active material, since the carbon nanotube branches are growth directly on the surface of the graphene, excellent interface characteristics can be obtained and the 3D carbon macro structure can be synthesized in a short time with large amount. In this work, we present the synthesis method, unique structure and physical properties of Nickel hybrid composites, as well as their electrochemical and related applications, and outlook for future research. |
