Triazole is effectively promotes proton conductivity of materials under anhydrous conditions. The proton conduction in triazole was proposed as the transfer of protons between neighboring protonated and unprotonated guest molecules. But triazole as a small molecule in a PEM may leach out gradually, which would lead to decrease in proton conductivity. So utilizing the ionic liquid such as BMIM+BF4-, the interactions between BF4- ions and the surfaces of silver nanoparticles caused the Ag surfaces to be partially positively charged and well dispersed. The surface positive charge was confirmed by the increase in binding energy of the d5/2 orbital of the silver nanoparticles from 368.59 to 368.83 eV as the silver content increased. The proton conductive pathway is constructed by self assembled Ag between 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol were expected to useful proton transfer. |
